Miso is a great ingredient to add to your meals to improve gut and heart health with its’ anti-inflammatory properties!

This is a delicious and quick fish recipe that will leave you wanting more!

Halibut

Ingredients

  • 1-2 filet of halibut

  • 1 tsp miso

  • 2 tbsp of coconut aminos

  • 1/2 lime juiced

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

RECIPE

  1. in a large bowl add your miso, coconut oil, lime, coconut aminos and mix until combined.

  2. Add your halibut to the marinade and let this sit for up to 2 hours in the fridge (the longer you marinate it the more flavorful!)

  3. Heat up a large pan on medium heat.

  4. Add your Halibut (skin side up) and the remaining marinade to the pan and cover. Cook on one side for 4-5 minutes.

  5. Flip the Halibut and cook for another 4-6 minutes.

  6. once your halibut can separate in flakes easily with a fork it is done (or around 150 degrees)

  7. Enjoy the Halibut with rice and a kale salad or any of your favorite sides!
